National Level High-Ranking Awards to Dr Dilip Modi and JIVEM Education

Excellence in Education Proves Once Again: It was a blissful day of 30th April when Dr Dilip Modi, Chairman, JIVEM Education awarded with the High-Ranking National Industrial Excellence Award-2015 and Quality Brands India Award 2015-17 in Hotel Kohinoor Continental, Mumbai during a National Conference on National Economic Growth through Individual Contribution. The award was conferred on Dr Modi by National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India and Quality Brand Times. Giving recognition to the untiring efforts and constant endeavours of Dr Dilip Modi, both the organizations invited JIVEM Education and Dr Modi for these prestigious awards. Dr Modi was conferred by these awards on his remarkable contribution towards the Integration of Education in the field of K-12 Education from 32 Years. President of National Chamber of Commerce, B.S. Rahne congratulated Dr Modi and said that his service to the field of Education is Exceptional and has contributed to the building of a responsible and happy society. Delighted with the awards Dr Modi said that "I receive these awards on behalf of my whole JIVEM Family including students, parents and staff members”.

The 15 member delegation of Jhunjhunu Academy returned on 26th September, 2010 after participating in the Youth Leadership Summit and 2nd National Conference on Tobacco or Health at Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital in Mumbai. The Jhunjhunu Academy delegates made their presence felt at the big events through their active participation. The leader of the group Santosh Kotiyal said that the students held discussions with other delegates from different parts of the country and even from abroad. The power point presentation presented by the Academy delegation received huge appreciation from all the delegates and dignitaries. With the anti tobacco posters of the Jhunjhunu Academy were also the centre of attraction. The students were divided into several work groups with a task assigned to them. The output of these group activities exhibited the talents and above all the concern in the tender minds of the youngsters. They vowed to do their best to make the world a smoke free and a healthy place to live in. “It was wonderful and exciting learning experience” the delegates said on return. On return the delegates were given a warm welcome.

Jhunjhunu Academy students once again proved their unmatched calibre when they outstripped 32 teams from all over the district participating in the prestigious Durga Lok Nritya Competition held at Khemi Shkati Temple on Oct 14, 2010. The dancing stars of Academy Preeti Payal, Neha Sihag, Kirti Singh, Nandini, Aishwarya, Neha Sharma, Siddharth Sikarwal, Himsanshu, Zunaid and Pradeep won the much coveted trophy with their thrilling and innovative performance ‘Govind Bolo Hari Gopal Bolo’ . It is worth mentioning that Jhunjhunu Academy bagged the Champions Trophy for the second consecutive year. The winning team was given a warm felicitation at the Wisdom City Campus. It may also be known that another unit of JIVEM group, Jhunjhunu International School stood runners up. The fourth position was also bagged by a JIVEM unit, New Jhunjhunu Academy. The entire JIVEM family expressed joy and delight over this great achievement. Mr Arvind K Sharma, who choreographed the dance presentation and has also been the chief motivating force behind this success, said that their performance received an all round cheer from the vast multitude of audience. Adding more glory to the ever glittering crown of Jhunjhunu Academy 6 of its talented students achieved first DAN Black Belt. This degree was conferred on them by the World Taekwondo Fedration, South Korea. Taekwondo coach of the school said that Bhanu Pratap Atri, Sudhir Bola, Deepender Singh Shekhawat, Anubhav Barwar, Aman Verma and Akshay Kumar achieved this honour after having cleared a written test. The achievers were given a warm felicitation at the wisdom city.

Jhunjhunu Academy won the English debate competition held on 30th October at Laxmipat Singhania School, Bissau. Santosh Kotiyal, HOD English said that Yogesh Raiji stood runner up in the individual category. The academy was awarded the winners trophy for overall performance. The topic of the debate was “ Reality Shows exploit innocent Kids” Ishu Chalana spoke for and Yogesh Raiji against the motion. The entire JIVEM family expressed pride and delight over this grand success.

Mrs Saroj Singh, Head Mistress at Jhunjhunu Academy returned from Banglore after participating in a National Educational Conference held at NIMHANS Convention Center, Banglore from December 19, 2010 to December 21, 2010. The conference was organized by Banglore Sahodaya Schools. It was the 17th Annual Sahodaya School Conference. Mr Vineet Joshi, CBSE Chairman, S C Khuntia, Joint Secreatary HRD and Mrs Sadhna Parashar, Head, CCE, CBSE were the distinguished dignitaries in the conference. The objective of the conference was ‘Managing Changes for Better Learning’. 500 Principals from all over the country participated in this conference. During the seminar Jhunjhunu Academy was appreciated for its successful implementation of CCE and adoption of latest technologies in the education. Mrs Saroj Singh also had a fruitful chat with Mr Vineet Joshi and Mrs Sadhana Parasher. She discussed on several domains of CCE and the latest teaching pedagogies. Mrs Singh was warmly welcomed on her return. In felicitation ceremony she shared her experience with the students and staff members and promised to use her experience in the best interest of the students and society.

15 years old Akshay to represent India at Commonwealth

Bringing more glory not only to the institution, but also to the entire state, Akshay Kumar of Jhunjhunu Academy is selected as the youngest Indian player for the 5th Commonwealth Taekwondo Championship 2011 to be held at the Nehru Stadium, Chennai from 28 Jan. to 31 Jan. 2011. Akshay is also the first and only player from Rajasthan to represent India in the international event. The school Taekwondo coach who has been training Akshay for last 3 years said that Akshay bagged gold medal in under 78 kg. weight category at the Inter-zone national championship held at Bangaluru from 12 and 13 Jan. 2011. The entire Jhunjhunu Academy family has expressed joy over this amazing achievement by one of its students and wishes him great luck for the gala tournament. Akshay is training industriously at Jhunjhunu Academy Tae-kwon-do academy to bring glory to the nation soon in the commonwealth tournament.

Another glittering chapter was added to the glory of Jhunjhunu Academy when five of its glowing stars Sonu Kumawat, Priyanka Gupta, Ankit Mittal, David Masih and Shubham Sharma cleared their prestigious CPT Examination and moved their steps strongly towards becoming Chartered Accountant. Sonu, Priyanka and Ankit passed the twelfth in Commerce from Jhunjhnu Academy in 2010 similarly, David and Shubham were the students of FMM. The staff members were ecstatic on this great success. This success proved the caliber, tenacity and commitment of the Jhunjhunu Academy educators and the students. Chairman Mr Dilip Modi and Managing Director Mrs Nirja Modi have expressed joy and congratulated the students on their success. It is worth mentioning that all these students were always ahead in all the curricular and co-curricular activities in school. It was their perseverance and faith in their teachers that led them to such brilliant success. The achievers have attributed their success to the valuable guidance and blessings of their parents and teachers.

Jhunjhunu Academy achieved another mile stone when it was approved as the registered Test Center by London Test Center, London, a high ranking global assessment institution for spoken English. It may be known that Jhunjhunu Academy is the only center of this kind in Rajasthan. The test center will provide the students and the teachers an ideal platform to enhance as well as judge their spoken English skills. London Test Center not only assesses the spoken english skills but also provides extensive training to all those who aspire to acquire proficiency over spoken English skills. The assessment is made at different levels depending upon the various eligibility parameters.
