The students of Jhunjhunu Academy performed extra-ordinarily in District Level Inter-School tournaments organized by Panchayat Raj and Nehru Yuva Kendra. The teams participated in Volleyball, Football, Table-Tennis and Badminton. Proving its excellence, the Jhunjhunu Academy Volleyball team got first place and captured the Winners Trophy. Football team stood second and got the I Runners Up Trophy. Tejaswini, Monika, Swati and Niharika registered their win in Girls’ Doubles Bad Minton tournament and stood second. Similarly, Eva Choudhary, Shilpa and Mukta Dhaka, the table tennis stars got third position in girls’ table tennis tournament. Team In-charge Mr Arvind stated that their teams played with all enthusiasm and real team spirit. “We have a young and energetic team that can achieve greater heights”, said Principal Dr Shekhawat. The sports stars of the school were awarded with the trophies, medals and certificates by Dr Alok Gupta, District Magistrate, Jhunjhunu. A warm welcome and felicitation was given to the students in the school. Chairman Mr Modi expressed his delight over the dazzling achievements made by the talented Jhunjhunu Academy students and hoped that the carvan of success will go on and on.

The investiture ceremony was organized on August 14,2010 in Wisdom City campus. The solemn ceremony started with the hoisting of the school flag by Mr Kailash Ardawatia, BDO, Panchayat Samiti, Jhunjhunu. Santosh Kotiyal, PGT, English announced and introduced the names of the office bearers of the newly formed Students Council. The members of outgoing students council handed over the flags to their successors. The new office bearers took oath of post and responsibilities. The office bearers resolved to perform their duties and responsibilities to the best of their caliber and abilities and with utmost dedication. Mr Anil Dadhich, ACTO, Jhunjhunu, Mrs Nirja Modi, Managing Director, JIVEM along with Principal and Vice Principal adorned the new council members with badges and sashes. Bhoopesh Goyal & Kirti Singh took the oath as School Captain and Vice-Captain respectively, whereas Akshay and Shilpa took the oath as Sports Captain and Sports Vice-Captain respectively. Swati Jangid for Cultural Club Secretary, Monika Kaswan for Literary Club Secretary, Avinash for Science Club Secretary, Harshvardhan for IT Club Secretary, Alka Ahlawat and Prasoon Mathur for Prefect Girl and Prefect Boy respectively, Ambika Jhajharia, Sidha and Shashank Modi for Communication Observers swore in. Jyoti Adhana, Arti Kala, Tejswini and Prachi Nimbawat swore in for Neptune House, Mercury House, Jupiter House and Venus House Leaders respectively. Through a splendid March Past, all the office bearers along with the students of four houses saluted the Chief Guest and Guests of Honour. The March Past was led by the School Sports Captain. On this occasion beautiful dances were presented by the Cultural Club. The Judo and Taekwondo Club presented terrific feats. All the guests congratulated the new office bearers and inspired them to accomplish their duties with all their honesty and dedication.

Students of Jhunjhunu Academy Left for Mumbai to participate in Youth Leadership Summit

A delegation of 14 students of Jhunjhunu Academy left for Mumbai on 20th September, 2010 to participate in Youth Leadership Summit 2010 and 2nd National Conference on Tobacco or Health. The delegation is being led by Santosh Kotiyal, HOD English. The students would interact with their counterparts from different parts of the country as well as from abroad. Mr Kotiyal said that on 21 and 22 Sept. the students would be taking part in different constructive and learning oriented activities as a part of Youth Leadership Summit, from 23 to 25 September they would be participating in 2nd National Conference on Tobacco or Health. The delegates will discuss among themselves the ways to make the world tobacco free place. Principal stated that “it is a matter of immense pride that the students of Jhunjhunu Academy have been selected to participate in YLS for the third time in a row.” The group was given a warm farewell in the school. The students and the staff wished the delegates a brilliant success.

Mr Dilip Modi, Chairman, JIVEM Group returned from Bahrain after participating in an International Conference on Education : International Education Project held from Oct 8, 2010 to Oct 10, 2010. Mr Kapil Sibbal hon’ble Union Minister HRD chaired the conference. Mr Modi was specially invited to attend this prestigious event organized by the Crowned Prince of Bahrain HRH Salman-Bin-Ahemad-Al- Khalifa for his indomitable, untiring endeavors in the field of education. During the conference Mr Modi had a useful dialogue with Mr Kapil Sibbal and the Crowned Prince. They discussed various issues related with different educational reforms. Educationists from over 56 countries participated in the conference. On his return Mr Modi was given a warm homecoming and felicitation by the JIVEM Family. On this occasion Mr Modi expressed his commitment to use his experience of the conference in the best interest of the students and the society. JA champion in Solo Song Competition

After proving excellence in dance competition, Jhunjhunu Academy proved its excellence in solo song competition. Kalpna of class IX won the prestigious district level Solo Song Competition held on October 21, 2010 at Mandava. Music guru Mr Ramzan Rizvi and Mr Ashok Tanwar said that 22 teams from all over the district participated in this competition and Kalpna outstripped all the contenders with the song ‘ Satyam Shivam Sundaram’. Kalpna was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 2100. She also won the running trophy for the school. The entire Jhunjhunu Academy family expressed joy and delight over this great achievement.The winning team was given a warm felicitation at the Wisdom City Campus.

Mr Dilip Modi, Chairman, Mrs Nirja Modi, Managing Director and Mr Ashutosh Modi, Executive Director, JIVEM left for New Delhi to attend the Second International Conference on Education to be held at the IIT, New Delhi from 26 Oct. to 28 Oct. PRO Mr Arvind Sharma said that Mr Modi and his team members were invited to the big event considering their constant contribution to promote innovations in the field of education. Mr Modi said that the conference would discuss different educational reforms and changes in global context. Mr Kapil Sibbal the Union Minister of HRD will chair the conference.

Keeping the glorious success story of Jhunjhunu Academy alive 3 academians have successfully completed the prestigious C A Course this year. Ankit Tibra, Mukesh Gupta and Nitesh Tibra added a new chapter in the voluminous achievements of Jhunjhunu Academy. It is a remarkable fact that Ankit has completed this relatively difficult course of Chartered Accountant at a tender age of 22. During his studentship at the Jhunjhunu Academy he always led his class in all the fields and showed a glimpse of his brilliant future early. Similarly Mukesh and Nitesh also belonged to a band of devoted, confident and persevering students with almost a frenzy to achieve their goals. The fact that all the three students got this success at their very first attempt, makes this achievement all the more special. The dazzling success of these academians has again exhibited the excellence of the fertile soil of Jhunjhunu Academy. The entire Jhunjhunu Academy family including the staff members and the students were extremely enraptured on this amazing success and shared their joy embracing each other. Mr Modi, Chairman expressed his joy over the double-fold success of the academians clearing their CPT and C A final examinations on the same day saying that the achievement of these students has encouraged the academy members to attain greater heights. 100% FREE Computer Education for Girl students of JIVEM

Jhunjhunu Academy has been approved as official learning centre for Gyan Kendra supported by Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited (RKCL). The centre will provide free of charge computer education to girl students. Different courses of computer application like web browsing, power point presentation, and multimedia etc. will be taught to the girls in the centre. This achievement is in conformity with our commitment towards the empowerment of the girls in this competitive era.

The new year 2012 at Wisdom City brought loads of laurels and glory in the form of dazzling success in different fields of sports and music. Principal Mr Ravi S Sharma stated that the students won 7 Gold, 2 Silver and 6 Bronze medals in National Taekwondo Championship held at Amritsar from 26 December to 29 December. Ravi Kaswan, Hawa Singh, Bhanu Pratap, Amit Sharma, Rohit Sherawat, Sahil Khan and Ankit Bedwal won the Gold Medals while Pradeep Sangwan and Krisan Jangir bagged the Silver Medals. Prashant Dhama, Khiladi Badhana, Avinash Diwedi, Yuvraj Singh, Amit Chhillar and Naveen won the bronze medals and proved their talent and the quality of training they received at Taekwondo Academy under the able guidance and rigorous training of Mr Dinesh Saini, Taekwondo Coach. The proud squad was warmly felicitated at the school campus. This trhilling success was doubled by yet another prodigy Himanshu Sen who secured the second position in solo song competition organised by Parul Film Productions and Chirawa Dance Academy, Chirawa. Himanshu was also selected to sing for a projected album to be launched shortly by Parul Films. His music teacher Mr Ramzan Rizvi and Ashok Tanwar were mighty proud of his double success. Mr Dilip Modi, Chairman, Mrs Nirja Modi, Managing Director and Mr Ashutosh Modi, Executive Director expressed their joy and happiness over the all round success of talented students of Jhunjhunu Academy on the very outset of New Year.

Jhunjhunu Academy sweeps the ring in taekwondo

Jhunjhunu Academy students won 9 medals including 5 gold medals in National level Taekwondo Championship held in Jammu & Kashmir. Bhanu pratap in 50-55 kg, Ankit Kumar in 40-50 kg, Ravi Kaswan in 60 kg, Hawa Singh in 45-50 kg, weight category won gold medals. Harsh Kadyan in 31-35 kg, Amit Bhakar in 35-40 kg, Ashish Yadav in 40-45 weight category won silver medals. Amit Sharma won bronze in 35-40 kg weight category. The school Taekwondo coach Dinesh Saini Black Belt holder, also participated in another International championship and secured gold medal. A warm felicitation was given to the winners in the Morning Assembly . Medals, honour badges and certificates were given to them. Jivem Chairman Dr. Dilip Modi also expressed his happiness over this achievement. He congratulated all the winners and their coach.
