Jhunjhunu Academy at International Event
The 15 member delegation of Jhunjhunu Academy returned on 26th September, 2010 after participating in the Youth Leadership Summit and 2nd National Conference on Tobacco or Health at Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital in Mumbai. The Jhunjhunu Academy delegates made their presence felt at the big events through their active participation. The leader of the group Santosh Kotiyal said that the students held discussions with other delegates from different parts of the country and even from abroad. The power point presentation presented by the Academy delegation received huge appreciation from all the delegates and dignitaries. With the anti tobacco posters of the Jhunjhunu Academy were also the centre of attraction. The students were divided into several work groups with a task assigned to them. The output of these group activities exhibited the talents and above all the concern in the tender minds of the youngsters. They vowed to do their best to make the world a smoke free and a healthy place to live in. “It was wonderful and exciting learning experience†the delegates said on return. On return the delegates were given a warm welcome.
